Kimera's global cuisine, like the restaurant's design, mixes a variety of flavors and textures, to create a stylish and affordable menu. The menu will feature international influences mixed with the freshest local ingredients.

Kimera's Executive Chef, Jon Blackford joined Kimera in 2009 after being personally sought after to oversee culinary operations; combining his culinary mastery, attention to detail, and an emphasis on a love of food, he is the key to unlock Kimera's splendor. He is known for his ingenuity in designing a menu to accentuate the event; bringing both tradition and avant-garde fare to punctuate the dining experience.

Devoted to his passion at an early age in Pittsburgh, PA . He went on to foster his knowledge by moving around the country in various capacities of the kitchen. Consumed by his craft he went on to graduate the Culinary Institute of America. Under the guise of Executive Chef Jeff Jackson he immersed himself in an externship at A.R. Valentien in The Lodge at Torrey Pines. There, he honed in on the beauty of farm fresh fare and keeping up with the menu changing every day to match. He continued to build his creativity as Sous Chef of Shades at the Hilton Waterfront; where he played an integral role in their specially tailored wine dinners, lunch and dinner menus, and ingredient dinners to satisfy every palette.

His passion for food is a force to be reckoned with; it is best to sit back and enjoy his show.
